The first conventional processing method:
(1) Preliminary cleaning
Use a soft bristled brush or non-woven fabric to remove large residues from the surface of the ball mill jar and grinding ball.
Rinse with compressed air or clean water to remove loose particles.
(2) Choose cleaning agent
Water soluble residue: Clean with warm water or neutral detergent.
Oil residue: Clean with alcohol, acetone, or specialized organic solvents.
Stubborn residues: Use dilute acid (such as dilute hydrochloric acid) or dilute alkali (such as sodium hydroxide solution), but pay attention to the material's tolerance.
(3) Hand cleaning
Soak the ball mill jar and grinding ball in cleaning agent, and gently wipe with a soft bristled brush or non-woven fabric.
Be careful to avoid using hard tools to avoid scratching the surface.
(4) Ultrasonic cleaning (optional)
Place the ball mill jar and grinding ball into the ultrasonic cleaning machine, add cleaning agent, and clean for 10-20 minutes.
Ultrasonic cleaning can effectively remove small particles and stubborn residues.
(5) Rinse off
Thoroughly rinse the ball mill jar and grinding balls with clean water to ensure complete removal of cleaning agents and residues.
(6) Dry
Blow dry with clean compressed air or dry with non-woven fabric and place in a dry and ventilated place to air dry.
Avoid high temperature drying to prevent material damage.
The second way to try (simple):
Place the grinding ball that needs to be cleaned into the ball mill jar, add cleaning agent, and then put it back into the ball mill.
Run the ball mill for about half an hour, and you will receive a clean ball mill jar and grinding balls.
